Special UEN (SUN): Choose Your Preferred UEN
The UEN (Unique Entity Number) is a numerical identifier assigned to every entity registered in Singapore. It's a unique code that distinguishes one entity from another. All businesses must provide their Unique Entity Number (UEN) when dealing with government agencies. This UEN is issued at no cost.
For a fee, entity owners can select a specific UEN from a designated list during the registration or conversion process. This chosen UEN, called a Special UEN (SUN), allows owners to easily identify and remember their entity's unique identifier when dealing with government agencies. Those who do not want a SUN will receive a system-generated UEN at no cost.
Types of SUN
SUNs are available in two tiers:
Tier 1 for S$3,000, offering consecutive same numbers or numbers containing "8,"
Examples 202488888A or 202400800K
and
Tier 2 for S$1,000, providing repetitive patterns (excluding "8") or numbers ending with three identical digits (such as ‘222’, ‘666’, ‘777’)
Examples 202412121R or 202401777W
